Which Soft99 Glaco should you buy?
Soft99 Glaco is a family of silicone-polymer rain repellents for automotive glass. They all do the same job — bond to the silicate in your windscreen so water beads and flies off at speed instead of sheeting across your line of sight. What separates them is how long they last and how long they take to apply. Pick the trade-off that suits you.
The flagship. Longest hold (~12 months), slowest application. Buy this if you want to coat the windscreen once a year and forget about it.
The middle ground (~6 months). Its S.A.R.F. self-levelling additive forgives an imperfect wipe — the streak-free choice for first-timers.
The sponge-ball original (~4 months). Fastest, cleanest application — nothing to buff, nothing on your hands. Also in Large and MAX.
Wash-and-coat hybrid. Lays down the hydrophobic layer during the wash rather than as a separate step afterwards.
Formulated for side mirrors and reversing-camera lenses — the small surfaces a windscreen product handles badly.
Spray-on entry tier. Same Glaco silicone chemistry, shortest hold, quickest job. Good for a top-up before a road trip.
Prep is not optional. Every Glaco bonds to bare glass. Old wax, silicone residue or a water-spot film will block that bond and the coating will fail early — this is the single most common reason people say "Glaco didn't last." Strip the glass first with Glaco Glass Compound Roll On or Glass Stain Cleaner, then coat.

Beyond Glaco: Fusso Coat and the rest of the range
