Fukupika Glass Anti-Fog Gel — a clear gel-formulation anti-fog treatment for the inside surface of windscreens, side windows and rear-view mirrors.

The chemistry

A surfactant-based hydrophilic gel that leaves a microscopically thin film on glass after wiping. The hydrophilic film causes condensation to form as a uniform sheet rather than tiny fog droplets — the human eye reads sheet condensation as "wet" but still transparent, while droplet condensation reads as opaque fog.

Gel format clings to vertical glass long enough to spread evenly, where a spray would sheet to the bottom of the windscreen.

Use it for

Inside windscreen treatment for cold mornings, rear window anti-fog before winter, side mirror clarity in rain, motorbike helmet visors (apply to the inside).

How to use

Squeeze a coin-sized dot onto a clean microfibre. Spread across clean dry glass in circular motion. Buff lightly with a second clean microfibre. Reapply every 4-6 weeks during winter, less often in mild weather.
