Our Work — Ceramic Coating, PPF & Paint Correction Gallery
Every car photographed on this page is real work, done in our Heidelberg West workshop by Paolo Recinella — chemistry-trained detailer, VDA-certified Labocosmetica installer, and PPF specialist for some of Melbourne's most demanding owners.
What we do: multi-stage paint correction, ceramic coating, full paint protection film, and interior restoration on new luxury vehicles, modern performance cars, and concours-level classics. The work ranges from fresh-delivery protection on modern hypercars to decade-long preservation plans for collector cars.
Recent Builds
Wheel-off ceramic coating. Coating the inside of the barrel is where brake dust and road salt do their real damage — and where most detailers never touch. Wheels off, coating applied to every face.

Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren. Paint protection on an irreplaceable hypercar. At nearly twenty years old, the SLR has paint chemistry that pre-dates modern correction methods — it needs a hand that understands what's original and what shouldn't be touched.

Ferrari 812 Competizione and F12. Matte finish correction and ceramic coating on the 812 Competizione — matte paint doesn't forgive the same technique as gloss, and the chemistry has to be matte-specific. F12 in the background waiting its turn.

Hypercar detail work. Every panel treated individually under controlled light. Every contaminant dealt with before any compound touches the paint.

In the workshop with Labocosmetica. VDA-certified ceramic chemistry, applied panel-by-panel. Every installation is documented with photos, batch numbers, and a care plan for the owner.

Porsche 911 GT3 RS (Victoria "BLK" plate). Full carbon hood decontamination, paint correction, and ceramic coating. The challenge on black paint is making the carbon weave read cleanly under any light — one swirl is one too many.

Porsche 911 (993) — Speed Yellow. Air-cooled classic. Original paint on a 993 is 30 years old and doesn't respond to modern polish aggression the way new Porsche paint does. Light, careful, measured — and the right chemistry.

Our Process
Decontamination. Every build starts with full chemical and mechanical decontamination — iron fallout removal, tar, bug residue, clay bar. A coating applied over contaminated paint is a coating applied over contamination.
Paint thickness audit. We measure every panel with a Bluetooth paint thickness gauge before correcting. This tells us what original clear coat is left, flags previously-resprayed panels, and sets the upper limit on how much compound we can safely remove.
Correction. Single, two, or three-stage polish depending on the paint condition. The right chemistry matters as much as the right technique — we use Labocosmetica's compound range for consistent finish.
Coating. Labocosmetica ceramic chemistry, applied panel-by-panel under controlled light. Every installation is documented with photos, coating batch numbers, and a care plan for the owner.
Book Your Build
If you're after the same work on your car, book a consultation through our ceramic coating service page or get in touch directly. We work on a limited number of vehicles per week to make sure every build gets the attention it needs.
