Yes. Every Labocosmetica formula carries VDA certification — the European automotive standard that confirms each product is safe on OEM paint, matte and gloss PPF, vinyl wraps, and modern automotive plastics. The buffered alkaline and noble-acid chemistry deliberately avoids hydrolysing the silicon-oxygen matrix of ceramic coatings or attacking the urethane top layer of PPF.
What's the difference between Prìmus 2.0 and Purìfica?
Prìmus 2.0 is the alkaline pre-wash for traffic film and organic dirt: a buffered alkaline at pH 11, designed to lift organic grime, bug residue and traffic film without corroding aluminium trim or attacking coating chemistry. Purìfica is the acidic wash for mineral deposits and limescale: a noble-acid shampoo (pH below 3) formulated without the hydrofluoric acid or ammonium bifluoride used in cheaper iron and wheel cleaners. For bonded iron contamination, use Sidero. Removing a mineral deposit is different from repairing etched paint or glass. Prìmus 2.0 and Purìfica are designed to be used together as the alkaline-then-acid stages of a 3-pH wash.
How concentrated is Sèmper neutral shampoo?
Sèmper dilutes at 1:1500. A 500ml bottle produces 750 litres of ready-to-use wash solution. The active ingredient stays effective at very low working concentrations, so a single bottle realistically lasts a year of weekly washes.
Are Labocosmetica products PFAS-free?
Yes. The Labocosmetica range is developed by Mafra at their Baranzate research lab to meet European environmental standards, and the products are generally formulated PFAS-free. Many "professional" car-care brands still rely on PFAS chemistry for surface tension control.
HPC PRO vs Blindo Plus?
HPC PRO is the professional-grade hybrid polysilazane coating, rated up to 48 months or 60,000 km on its own. Blindo Plus is a high-gloss coating designed to maximise optical depth and slickness. In the Blindo Plus + HPC PRO system, Blindo Plus is the base coat and HPC PRO is applied over it as the top coat; that system is rated up to five years or 75,000 km.
Does Labocosmetica work in Australian conditions?
Australian water hardness is generally lower than European norms, which means dilution ratios stay accurate. Australian UV exposure is significantly higher than the European average, which makes the choice of coating more critical — we recommend HPC Pro or Blindo Plus for cars stored outdoors in Australian sun.
