Labocosmetica LUBRIFICA PLUS — Concentrated PPF & Vinyl Application Fluid

This is not the 500ml clay lubricant in a bigger bottle. LUBRIFICA PLUS is a separate, concentrated formula built for film work — a purpose-engineered slip solution for modern PPF adhesives, supplied as a 4.5L professional container and diluted with water before use.

Per the manufacturer, it is formulated for the application of PPF (paint protection film), wet-install vinyl films, decals and graphics, and window tints. It is marked professional detailer use only.

Free pipette included. Every 4.5L LUBRIFICA PLUS order ships with a graduated pipette so you can measure the concentrate accurately instead of eyeballing it.

WHY A PURPOSE-MADE SLIP SOLUTION

Dish soap is the improvised alternative, and it behaves like one: surfactant load varies bottle to bottle, so glide and tack are never quite the same twice, and residue can be left behind under the film. A dedicated slip solution is formulated for one job — controlled glide while you position, a clean release as you squeegee out, and no residue trapped under the adhesive.

DILUTION

There is no single correct ratio — it comes down to the installer and what you are laying film over. In our own studio we work at roughly 30ml per litre of water, and that is a sensible starting point to dial in from. Installers who prefer more float will go richer; tighter, more complex panels usually want less. At that rate a 4.5L container makes in the order of 150 litres of working solution.
