Alpha Details is an official Australian YumCars stockist. We carry the range online and at our Melbourne studio in Heidelberg West, supplied through Yum's Australian distributor, and ship Australia-wide.
Do YumCars orders come with a dilution guide?
Yes. Every YumCars order from Alpha Details ships with our printed dilution guide, free. Every product is listed in millilitres first, with the ratio in brackets.
What is YumCars?
YumCars is a British car care brand with bold bottles, strong scents and an easy-to-follow system. We read the safety data sheet for every product before listing it, and we use the range in our own studio.
Is YumCars good for beginners?
Yes. The range is built as a simple system. The Wash Bundle 2.0 is the easiest place to start: Yum Wash, Yum Wheels, Yum Detailer and Yum Citrus.
Will Yum Wash strip wax or sealant?
Yum says Yum Wash is pH 7 and designed not to strip or compromise wax or sealant protection.
How much Yum Wash do I use?
Yum's figures are 100 ml in a half-full bucket, then top up with water for a bucket wash, or 100β150 ml made up to 1 litre with water for a foam cannon.
What is the 3pH wash and does Yum have one?
It is a four-step sequence: Yum Citrus (alkaline pre-wash), then Yum Reset (acid), then Yum Foam (neutral foam), then Yum Wash (neutral shampoo). This is Alpha Details' own method, not an official Yum instruction.
