Yum Cars Decon Starter Kit | Tar, Iron & Clay Decontamination

Everything for a full paint decontamination in Yum Cars' own order — tar, iron, minerals, then clay — at 10% less than buying the pieces separately.

What's in the box

Yum Tar & Residue 500ml — citrus-derived solvent for tar, glue and sticky residue.
Yum Wheels 500ml — non-acidic, colour-changing iron fallout remover for wheels and paint.
Yum Reset 500ml — acidic shampoo that removes mineral build-up and water spots.
Yum Detailer 500ml — the clay lubricant Yum recommend.
Yum Clay Block — reusable synthetic clay, up to 40 uses per Yum Cars.
2 x Yum Paint Towels — short-nap 330gsm towels for wiping down.

The order to use them

Start with a washed car. One: dissolve tar with Yum Tar & Residue and wipe away. Two: apply Yum Wheels to the paint out of direct sun, let it react, and rinse thoroughly. Three: wash with Yum Reset to strip mineral deposits. Four: clay the wet panel with the Clay Block using Yum Detailer as lubricant, light pressure, straight lines. Re-wash, dry, and apply protection straight away — freshly decontaminated paint is bare.

Clay can mark paint, so use it only when the surface needs it, ideally before a machine polish.
