Polishing Pads for Car Detailing

Pads set the cut as much as the compound does. Foam pads run from heavy-cut through polishing to finishing, microfibre pads cut harder for the same compound, and wool cuts hardest of all with the least heat. This collection carries Lake Country, RUPES, Mirka, Koch Chemie and Sonax pads in sizes from spot pads up to 6 inch, plus the applicator pads for hand work.

Match the pad to the machine's backing plate first, the paint second and the compound last. If you are unsure which combination your paint needs, tell us the car and the defect and we will give you a starting point — we polish every week in the studio.
