Yum Cars Yum Wash | High-Foam Strawberry Car Shampoo
Yum Wash is Yum Cars' maintenance shampoo — a thick, high-foaming, strawberry-scented wash built for lubrication first. It lifts traffic film, road grime and pollen without stripping the wax or sealant you've already put down, and it works equally well in a bucket or a foam cannon.
The chemistry
We read the Safety Data Sheet before we list anything. Yum Wash is an anionic-led surfactant system (the SDS declares more than 30% anionic surfactant) supported by amphoteric and non-ionic co-surfactants — that combination is what gives the dense, stable suds and the slick feel under the mitt. There are no caustic builders, no solvents and no abrasives in it.
On pH: Yum Cars rate Yum Wash at pH 7, making it safe on all paint finishes and exterior surfaces. A neutral shampoo cleans by surfactant action alone rather than by chemical attack, which is why it leaves waxes and sealants intact.
Use it for
Regular maintenance washes on paint, glass, plastics, rubber and vinyl wrap. Yum Cars state it is safe on all exterior surfaces and will not strip or compromise wax or sealant protection. Free-rinsing, so it sheets off cleanly rather than leaving a film.

For the bucket, half-fill it with water, add 100ml, then top the rest up with your pressure washer for a thicker, foamier wash. A 500ml bottle covers five buckets; the 5 litre covers fifty. These are Yum Cars' own recommended quantities.
How to use
Bucket wash. Half-fill your wash bucket, add 100ml of Yum Wash, then top up with water. Rinse the car first, wash top-down with a plush mitt using a separate rinse bucket, rinse thoroughly and dry.
Foam cannon. Add 100–150ml to the cannon bottle and top up with water. Foam the car, let it dwell without drying, then contact wash or rinse.
Work in the shade on cool panels and don't let the product dry on the surface.
Common questions
Will Yum Wash strip my wax or sealant?
No. Yum Cars state it will not strip or compromise wax or sealant protection.
Can I use Yum Wash in a foam cannon?
Yes. Add 100 to 150ml to the cannon bottle and top up with water. It works equally well in a bucket.
How much do I use per bucket?

Good to know
Light strawberry fragrance. Available in 500ml and 5 litre. As with any concentrated surfactant, the neat product is a skin and eye irritant — wear gloves if you have sensitive skin and keep it out of reach of children.
