Labocosmetica SÈMPER — hyper-concentrated pH-neutral shampoo
Sèmper is the maintenance shampoo for everything you've already protected. Neutral pH and hyper-concentrated — usable down to 1:1500 — so it cleans hard while leaving carnauba waxes, sealants and nano-coatings completely untouched. The high lubrication is the point: it's what lets a wash mitt glide instead of dragging grit across your clear coat, which is where swirl marks come from.
It's free of waxes and gloss enhancers, so it doesn't streak, doesn't build up, and is safe on glass. The foam dissolves, encapsulates and suspends dirt so it lifts away cleanly rather than being ground back in. It is the contact-wash step of the 3pH wash we run in the studio, and the one Labocosmetica product you will go through fastest. Available in 100 ml, 500 ml and 4.5 L.
Sèmper dilution ratios
Ratios are Sèmper to water. These are very dilute on purpose — the shock factor is the ratio, not the safety.

Hard water: Sèmper works with medium-hard water at these ratios. In a hard-water area, increase the concentration or use Sàtino, which helps drying and reduces limescale residue. Every ratio for every Labocosmetica product is on our dilution ratio cheat sheet.
How to use Sèmper
- Pre-wash first — Nève on a coated car, Prìmus 2.0 on a dirty one — and rinse, so the mitt only ever meets loosened dirt.
- Fill the wash bucket about four-fifths with water and add Sèmper. Bring the last fifth in under pressure (or a tornado-effect gun) to raise the foam.
- Three buckets in the studio: wash, rinse and a separate wheels bucket. Grit guards in each.
- Wash with a soft microfibre mitt, top down, rinsing the mitt in the rinse bucket between panels.
- Rinse the car thoroughly and dry.
A mitt that has been on a wheel never goes back to paint.

Where Sèmper sits in the Labocosmetica wash system
Sèmper is the neutral contact wash that finishes every Labocosmetica routine. The pre-wash before it depends on the car:
- Prìmus 2.0 — alkaline pre-wash, pH 11, for organic film.
- Purìfica — acid shampoo, pH below 3, for mineral film.
- Nève — pH-neutral foam, for coated cars.

How much Sèmper goes in a 10 L bucket?
About 10 ml for a normal wash (1:1000) — two teaspoons, not a glug. 12.5 ml if the car is properly dirty, 7 to 8 ml for a light maintenance wash. If the foam looks thin compared with a supermarket shampoo, that is normal; the lubrication is in the water, not in the suds.
What does a Sèmper wash cost?
At 1:1000 a 500 ml bottle is about 50 washes — roughly $0.90 of chemistry per wash at the 500 ml price, and under $0.60 at 1:1500. The 4.5 L works out at around $0.45 per wash.
Can I use Sèmper through a foam cannon?
Yes, at 1:100 to 1:200 in the cannon bottle as a rinse-and-go wash on a coated car. It is not a replacement for a pre-wash on a dirty car — Nève or Prìmus do that job — but on a lightly dusty coated car it is a quick, safe clean.
Sèmper or Revìtax?
Sèmper cleans and leaves the protection exactly as it was — no additives, nothing deposited. Revìtax is the wash-and-coat shampoo that tops up a siloxane layer as it washes. If you keep your coating or sealant maintained and want a pure, honest shampoo, Sèmper. If you want a gloss and hydrophobic top-up at every wash, Revìtax.
