Mild Alkaline Snow Foam with Strong Cleaning Power
Koch Chemie Active Foam (AF) is a concentrated, mild alkaline snow foam and car shampoo designed to deliver stronger cleaning performance than traditional pH neutral washes. With a pH of 9.5, it effectively removes stubborn road grime, grease and traffic film while remaining safe for paint, wheels and glass when properly diluted.
Ideal for both enthusiasts and professional detailers, AF bridges the gap between safe maintenance washing and heavier-duty cleaning.
Enhanced Cleaning Without Harsh Chemistry
Active Foam is formulated to provide increased cleaning bite without unnecessary additives. It is:
- Phosphate free
- NTA free
- Safe on exterior vehicle surfaces when diluted correctly
The mild alkalinity allows it to break down contamination that neutral shampoos may struggle to remove, making it ideal for vehicles exposed to heavy road use or longer wash intervals.
Dense Snow Foam & Versatile Application
Through a foam cannon, AF produces a thick, clinging snow foam that softens and loosens contamination prior to contact washing. When used in a wash bucket, it offers excellent lubrication and cleaning performance for safe hand washing.
A distinctive sandalwood fragrance adds a refined, woody scent to the wash process - setting it apart from typical harsh-smelling alkaline shampoos.

- Dilute 1:10 for pre-wash applications.
Foam Cannon Application

Pre-rinse the vehicle thoroughly.

Dilute Active Foam between 1:50–1:200 in your foam cannon bottle.

Apply evenly across the vehicle, ensuring full coverage.

Allow a short dwell time without letting the product dry.

Rinse thoroughly using high-pressure water.
Bucket Wash Application

Add 35 mL per 10 L of water (approx. 1:300) to your wash bucket.

Wash panel by panel using a quality wash mitt.

Rinse the mitt frequently in a separate rinse bucket.

Rinse the vehicle thoroughly.

Dry using a clean microfibre drying towel or blower.
