Preparation and application

A coating locks in whatever is underneath it. The paint must be washed, decontaminated (tar, iron, clay), polished if needed, and wiped down with Yum Panel Wipe so it is completely free of oils and residue. Yum Cars specify that the Serum coatings be applied in a controlled indoor environment — temperature, humidity and airflow all affect the result. Apply to one small section at a time with the applicator, level and buff with clean short-pile towels, and keep the car dry while it cures. Follow the instructions supplied with the bottle.

Good to know
