Labocosmetica Polishing Kit

Three polishes that cover the whole correction job — and finish coating-ready.

Most polish sets sell you a cut and a finish and leave you to work out the middle. This one is built around the way Labocosmetica actually sequences a correction: an aggressive compound for the damage, a medium polish that can carry a whole job on its own, and a refining polish that leaves the paint chemically prepared for a coating rather than just shiny.

All three are silicone-free and filler-free. Nothing in this kit hides a defect it hasn't removed — which matters, because filled swirls come back the first time it rains.

THE THREE STAGES, IN ORDER

1. AUDACE — the cut. Labocosmetica call it a supreme cut compound: high cutting capacity at low speed, rated to remove deep scratches and sanding marks up to 1000 grit. It's at its best on hard and new-generation ceramic clears, and pad choice does the rest — wool at 400–1200 rpm on a rotary, HybridPad on a DA for harder paint, white or blue foam where you want less bite. Water-based, no paraffins, no fillers.

2. LEALE — the medium polish, and the one-step. This is the most useful bottle in the kit. Labocosmetica rate it for one-step application on hard, soft and delicate paints, and specifically recommend it for tacky, reflow and extra-soft finishes — the paints that punish an aggressive compound. It removes wash marring, swirls and sanding marks up to 2500 grit, and finishes down to a level comparable to a dedicated finishing polish. On a soft or finicky panel you can often start and stop here. Water-based, silicone-free, filler-free, odourless and low-VOC. HybridPad to cut on medium-sensitive paint, medium blue on very soft, blue or yellow to finish.

3. FIERO — the refinement, and the coating primer. A super-refining gloss polish built on SAM technology (Self-Assembled Monolayer) with adaptive abrasives. It takes the finish to its final clarity on both soft and hard paint, and it leaves behind a bonding layer that a ceramic coating anchors to. No resins, no fillers, no waxes — so unlike a traditional primer there's no 6–12 hour wait: you can coat immediately after the finishing pass. Compatible with coatings that cure under UV. Medium-soft yellow or soft black pad.

WHAT IT DOESN'T INCLUDE

Pads and a machine, and deliberately no protection product — because FIERO's whole purpose is to hand the paint over to a coating. Talk to us about which coating suits the car and we'll match it; the studio runs Labocosmetica and Feynlab on customers' cars every week.

Cut ratings, pad recommendations and formulation claims on this page are taken from Labocosmetica's published product data.
