A 200g tin that coats up to 40 vehicles with 12 months of hydrophobic protection. Soft99's Fusso Coat 12 Months Wax is the synthetic paint sealant that quietly redefined what a "wax" could do — built around a fluoropolymer formulation (the "fusso" in the name is Japanese for fluorine) that bonds to your clear coat and delivers beading and sheeting for up to a full year. If you've ever watched a freshly waxed car go dull after three washes, this is the antidote.

Why fluoropolymers matter. Traditional carnauba waxes give you stunning gloss for a few weeks. Fusso Coat uses PTFE-family fluoropolymers — the same chemistry that makes non-stick cookware slippery — to build a low-surface-energy barrier on your paintwork. The result is extreme hydrophobicity (water sheets off rather than clinging), strong oleophobic behaviour (oils, road film and traffic grime don't stick as easily), and UV resistance that protects against oxidation and fade.

What it does on the car. A thick, clear, deep-gloss layer on your clear coat. Bird droppings, salt, brake dust and summer bugs rinse off with a gentle pressure wash rather than scrubbing. Water repellency stays strong through 40+ washes, and the surface becomes noticeably easier to maintain — less contact washing means less risk of swirl marks over the life of the wax.

Which tin is right for your paint? Fusso Coat comes in two chemistries tuned for paint colour. The Black & Dark version is formulated for black, dark red, dark blue and dark grey paint — slightly different fillers help mask light swirls without lightening the colour. Use the Light version on white, silver, light grey, beige and pastel paint for the best clarity.

How to apply (panel by panel). Wash and decontaminate the car first — a proper pre-wash and an iron/tar decon step will give you the clean surface this wax needs. Dampen the included sponge applicator with water, take a very thin amount onto the pad, and spread it thinly and evenly across one panel at a time. After 2–3 minutes (let the wax haze), buff off with a clean dry microfibre towel. Work hood, then door, then roof — especially in warm weather, so the wax doesn't dry too hard to remove.

After application. For best polymerisation, avoid washing the car for 24 hours so the sealant has time to fully cure onto the clear coat.

The fine print. 200g tin with sponge applicator included. Roughly 40 light-coat applications per tin. Works on all automotive clear coats — always test on an inconspicuous area first and confirm your paint colour is compatible with the chosen variant.
