Glaco Glass Compound Roll On — a pre-treatment compound that strips water spots, old coating residue and surface contamination from glass BEFORE applying Ultra Glaco or any other Glaco product. The prep step that makes the coating last.
The chemistry
A mild cerium-oxide compound in a roll-on applicator format. Cerium oxide gently polishes the silicate structure of automotive glass, removing embedded mineral deposits (calcium, magnesium, silica scale) and any silicone residue from previous coatings.
Used before Ultra Glaco / Glaco Roll On, the compound creates a clean substrate for the silicone polymer to bond to — coatings applied over an unprepped surface lose their hydrophobic life by 30-50%.
Use it for
Pre-treatment before any Glaco coating, restoring clarity to glass with hard-water spot etching, removing old silicone residue from previous rain-repellent products, prep step for any new vehicle delivery.
How to use
Apply with the roll-on sponge across clean dry glass. Work into the surface with circular motion. Wipe clean with a microfibre. Apply a glass cleaner to remove any residue, then dry. Glass is now ready for Ultra Glaco or another Glaco coating.
