Soft99's flagship windscreen coating — builds an ultra-hydrophobic silicone layer on glass that repels rain, sleet and road spray for up to 12 months per application.

The chemistry. Ultra Glaco is a silicone-polymer glass coating. The active molecules bond covalently to the silicate in your windscreen, creating a cross-linked hydrophobic film with a water contact angle around 110–120°. Translation: water beads up into tight droplets and rolls off at 50 km/h and above — so in moderate rain you barely need wipers.

Why it matters at night. A hydrophobic windscreen dramatically improves safety at night and in heavy rain — headlights scatter less off a beaded, mobile water layer than off a thick sheet of water clinging to untreated glass.

How to apply. Clean glass thoroughly with a dedicated glass cleaner — any oil, wax or old rain-repellent residue will block bonding. Dry completely. Apply Ultra Glaco in straight overlapping passes using the included felt applicator. Wait 5–10 minutes to flash off, then buff off residue with a clean microfibre.
