Soft99 Glaco DX
Glaco DX — 110ml hydrophobic glass coating with Soft99's S.A.R.F. (Self-Adjusting Repellent Function) technology. The mid-tier liquid in the Glaco family: easier application than Ultra Glaco, longer durability than Glaco Roll On.
The chemistry
A silicone-polymer formulation that bonds covalently to silicate glass, dropping water contact angle to ~110°. The S.A.R.F. component is a self-levelling additive — the coating spreads out evenly during application even if your wipe technique isn't perfect, eliminating the streaking issue that catches first-time Glaco users.
Hold per application: ~6 months under daily-driver conditions. Sits between Ultra Glaco (12 months, slower application) and Glaco Roll On (4 months, fastest application).
Use it for
Daily-driver windscreens where 6-month durability is the right balance, owners stepping up from Glaco Roll On who want longer hold without committing to Ultra Glaco's 30-minute application, mobile detailers needing a faster product than Ultra Glaco.
How to use
Apply onto clean, dry glass. Dispense onto the supplied applicator pad, work across the windscreen in straight overlapping strokes. The S.A.R.F. self-levelling means streaks fade as the coating cures. Allow 30 minutes to set before exposing to rain. 110ml covers approximately 3-4 full windscreen applications.
