Glass Stain Cleaner — a paste-formulation cleaner for the mineral water-spot stains that build up on automotive glass after years of rain and sprinkler exposure. Removes deposits standard glass cleaners can't shift.
The chemistry
A mild cerium-oxide abrasive paste tuned for the silicate structure of automotive glass. Cerium oxide is the same compound used commercially to polish optical lenses — it works the silicate surface gently enough to remove embedded mineral deposits without scratching the underlying glass.
Different category to a glass-cleaning spray: this is a paste you work into the surface, not a wipe-off liquid. Designed for glass that has visible water-spot etching, not for general grime.
Use it for
Removing hard water spots and sprinkler stains from windscreens, polishing out etched mineral deposits before applying Ultra Glaco, restoring clarity to glass that has gone hazy from prolonged outdoor parking.
How to use
Apply a small amount to a clean foam applicator. Work into the glass in circular motion with moderate pressure. Wipe residue with a clean microfibre, then clean the area with a glass cleaner to remove any remaining paste. Apply Ultra Glaco afterwards if you want long-term water resistance.
