SMOOTH EGG Smooth Cloth — a 360×360mm Japanese microfibre buffing cloth, calibrated specifically for the Smooth Egg quick-detailer family. The matched buffer that delivers the egg-smooth surface feel the rest of the Smooth Egg line is named after.
The chemistry
A high-pile microfibre weave manufactured to a tighter fibre count than standard buffing cloths — finer fibres lift residue without dragging, and the deeper pile holds onto product film while you spread it across a panel.
Matched to the surface tension of the Smooth Egg Liquid, Platinum Liquid and Hydro Flash sprays — the cloth absorbs just enough of the carrier to spread the active layer evenly without leaving streaks or dry patches.
Use it for
Buffing Smooth Egg Liquid and Platinum Liquid applications, spreading Hydro Flash quick-detailer spray, final-pass buffing of any Soft99 wax or sealant, dust-pickup between washes on a maintained surface.
How to use
Use clean and dry. Apply Smooth Egg product to one face of the cloth (not directly on paint), spread across panel, then flip to the dry face to buff. Wash separately from wheel cloths. No fabric softener — softener clogs the microfibre fibres and kills the lift.
