Finishing Compound — 300ml. The fine-cut final stage of Soft99's three-step paint correction system. Brings paint up to mirror-grade gloss, ready for a wax or ceramic coating to lock in.
The chemistry
The finest abrasive in the Soft99 compound range — a fine-grade ceramic abrasive in a water-based carrier. The abrasive grade is calibrated to clear the micro-marring that even Polishing Compound leaves, without breaking down further during work-in.
Leaves a clear-coat surface profile that's show-finish ready — the difference between Finishing Compound and Polishing Compound is the difference between "good gloss" and "wet-look mirror gloss" in oblique-light reflections.
Use it for
Step 3 of full paint correction, prep before show-finish ceramic coating, single-stage refinement on already-corrected paint, achieving the mirror-flat finish for show-car detailing.
How to use
Apply onto a foam finishing pad. Work the panel at 800-1200 RPM (rotary) or speed 2-3 (DA) with light pressure until the compound clears. Wipe residue. Follow with Fusso Coat, KIWAMI hand wax, or a ceramic coating to lock in the gloss.
