Soft99 Iron Terminator - pH Neutral
Iron Terminator - PH neutral — a thioglycolate-chemistry iron-contamination remover. Spray it on, watch the purple bleed as iron particles dissolve off your paint and wheels, then rinse away.
The chemistry. A thioglycolate-based iron-contamination remover. When sprayed on paint or wheels, the thioglycolate reacts with iron particles embedded in the surface, turning them purple/red as the iron dissolves into soluble compounds that rinse away.
Why this tin. Content - 500ml Features pH balanced Iron remover/cleaner designed to dissolve brake dust and iron contaminants upon contact.
Why decontaminate iron. Microscopic iron particles from brake dust and industrial fallout embed in paint and wheels. Left in place, they corrode and cause rust speckling. Removing them before coating or waxing is the difference between a polish that lasts months versus weeks.
How to use. Spray onto a cool, pre-washed surface. Watch for the purple colour change. Allow 2–5 minutes dwell — not on a hot panel, not in direct sun. Rinse thoroughly with water. Follow with a pH-neutral shampoo wash.

DOING WHEELS? YOUR DISCS WILL FLASH-RUST AFTER THIS
Iron removers read pH neutral in the bottle but turn acidic as they react with fallout — binding dissolved iron releases hydrogen ions — and acid-exposed cast iron rusts within minutes of the rinse. Alkaline cleaners barely touch rotors; acids wake them up. Finish the wheel with Hyde's Serum Rustopper sprayed on the wet rotor and keep the orange dust off your clean wheels.
