Fusso Coat 12 Months Wax - Light
A 200g tin that coats up to 40 vehicles with 12 months of hydrophobic protection — formulated for light-coloured paint. Soft99's Fusso Coat 12 Months Wax uses a fluoropolymer chemistry (the "fusso" in the name is Japanese for fluorine) that bonds to your clear coat and delivers year-round beading, sheeting and gloss.
Why fluoropolymers matter. Traditional carnauba waxes look stunning for weeks; Fusso Coat uses PTFE-family fluoropolymers — the same surface chemistry that makes non-stick cookware slippery — to build a low-surface-energy barrier on your paintwork. Result: extreme hydrophobicity, strong oleophobic behaviour against road film and traffic grime, and UV resistance against oxidation and colour fade.
Which tin and why this one. The Light variant is engineered for white, silver, pearl, light grey, beige and pastel paint — the filler system preserves clarity and stops the coat looking "milky" on fair paint. For dark paints use the Black & Dark version.
How to apply, panel by panel. Wash and decontaminate first. Dampen the included applicator, pick up a thin amount of wax, spread evenly across one panel. Wait 2–3 minutes for the haze, then buff off with a dry microfibre.
After application. Avoid washing the car for 24 hours so the sealant can fully polymerise onto the clear coat.
200 g tin with sponge applicator. Approximately 40 applications per tin. Genuine Japanese-spec Soft99, stocked in Australia by Alpha Details.
