Rain Drop Tornado Vortex — a 300ml spray-on rain repellent for windscreens. The fastest application in Soft99's Glaco family: no applicator pad, no curing window, just spray on dry glass and wipe.
The chemistry
A silicone-polymer formulation in a high-pressure tornado-pattern spray nozzle that distributes the active evenly across the windscreen in a single pass.
The silicone polymer bonds to silicate glass, dropping surface energy enough to force water into beads at highway speed. Slightly lower contact angle and shorter durability than Ultra Glaco — the trade-off is the application speed.
Hold per application: ~3 months. Faster than Ultra Glaco (~30 minute application) but shorter-lived (Ultra Glaco lasts 12 months).
Use it for
Quick rain-repellent application before a road trip, top-up between full Ultra Glaco coatings, mobile detailers needing a fast-cycle product, anyone who wants beading without a 30-minute application.
How to use
Spray onto clean dry glass in a sweeping pattern, working top-to-bottom. Wipe in straight lines with a clean microfibre to spread evenly. Allow 20-30 minutes to cure before exposing to rain.
