The entry-tier Soft99 spray-on rain repellent for windscreens. Same Glaco silicone-polymer chemistry as Ultra Glaco but in a faster-application spray format with shorter durability — ideal for casual users or as a top-up between full Ultra Glaco applications.
The chemistry
A silicone-polymer that bonds to silicate glass and drops the surface energy enough to force water into beads.
Water contact angle: ~95-105°. Hold per application: roughly 2 months under daily-driver conditions. Lower contact angle and shorter durability than Ultra Glaco trade off application speed against longevity.
Use it for
Casual users, occasional rain repellent application, top-up between Ultra Glaco applications, anyone wanting a 5-minute application instead of a 30-minute one.
How to use
Spray onto clean dry glass, spread evenly with the supplied applicator pad, leave to cure for 30 minutes before driving. Reapply every ~6-8 weeks.
