Feynlab® Industrial Surface Wipe is a ready-to-use, plant-based final prep wipe for removing oils, residues and contaminants in the minutes before a ceramic coating goes down. It suits both automotive and industrial installs and comes in a 500ml bottle with sprayer.
How it works
Feynlab contrasts Surface Wipe with panel wipes based on denatured alcohol or high-percentage IPA, which it says rely on evaporation. Surface Wipe is a plant-based cleaning solvent system in a water-borne carrier that, per Feynlab, lifts oils and residue so they can be wiped away. Feynlab says it is VOC-exempt, streak-free and evaporates cleanly without leaving residue. Feynlab also says it leaves panels cleaner than IPA can; that comparison is Feynlab's claim.
Approved surfaces
Per Feynlab, on properly prepared automotive paint systems, powder-coated surfaces, gel coat systems, metals, and plastics prepared for coating.
How to use (Feynlab's published method)
- Lightly mist the product onto the surface.
- Wipe immediately with a clean microfibre towel.
- Buff the surface dry for a residue-free finish.
Do not let product runs dry on the surface. Always spray and wipe straight away.
