Koch Chemie TexLock — A Water-Based Guard for Fabric and Tops

TexLock is a water-based impregnation that gives textiles an invisible, easy-clean barrier against water, dirt and stains — without changing how the fabric looks or feels. It's built for both convertible roofs outside and upholstery inside, which is why it carries a fresh scent rather than a harsh solvent smell.

Protection you can't see or feel

The fibres stay soft; the water rolls off. Because it's water-based and bonds to the fibre rather than coating over it, TexLock keeps the original hand and appearance of the fabric while making spills bead up and wipe away. Clean the textile first — LeatherTexClean is the natural prep step — because a sealant only performs on a clean, dry surface.

How to use it

Make sure the surface is clean, dry and residue-free, and mask any surrounding areas. Apply evenly with a microfibre sponge, working crosswise for full coverage, then allow a full 24 hours to cure before use. Always check material compatibility on a hidden area first, and re-apply to refresh the effect over time.
