Koch Chemie LeatherTexClean — Mild Enough for Everyday Leather Care

LeatherTexClean lifts light, everyday soiling from surface-dyed (pigmented) smooth leather and textiles without stressing the surface. It's deliberately mild, which is what you want for regular maintenance cleaning — strong enough to remove body oils and grime, gentle enough to use often.

Know your leather

It's made for pigmented, surface-dyed leather — not aniline or nubuck. On the coated smooth leather found in most modern cars, it cleans seam to seam without damaging the finish. Foaming it is the trick: worked as a foam, the product stays where you put it and lifts dirt out of the grain rather than driving it in.

How to use it

Decant into a foamer bottle and apply the foam with a sponge or soft brush. Clean seam to seam, then remove the loosened dirt and residue with a clean, damp microfibre. Follow with a dedicated leather care product to condition and protect. On upholstery, it also makes an ideal pre-clean before sealing with TexLock.
