Koch Chemie TEX (Tinten- & Kuli-Ex) — Ink and Biro Marks, Gone

TEX is a solvent-based remover built for one of the hardest interior stains: ink and ballpoint-pen marks. A combination of special solvents and detergents dissolves and disperses the ink pigments rather than smearing them, and it does it without halogenated hydrocarbons — with a fresh orange scent instead of a harsh solvent reek.

Technique matters here

Pat, don't rub. Apply TEX to a microfibre cloth and loosen the mark by dabbing, then pat dry with an absorbent cloth — rubbing only spreads the pigment. It's made for solvent-resistant textiles; it is not suitable for artificial leather or plastics, so always check colour fastness and material compatibility on a hidden area first. Repeat for stubborn marks, then clean the whole area afterwards for an even finish.

How to use it

Dab onto the stain with a microfibre, lift by patting, and pat dry. Finish by cleaning the surrounding area with a suitable interior cleaner so there's no halo. 250 ml.
