The ACE Heavyweight is the fuller-bodied version of the Aquatouch ACE. Same low-denier 70/30 yarn, same chemically split fibres, and the same pearl weave structure that makes the ACE so good at levelling and streak-free wiping — with noticeably more fibre density behind it.

At 400 GSM it holds more product per face than the standard 320 GSM ACE, which means fewer towel swaps mid-panel on a full-vehicle coating install. The tight pearl weave still gives you the surface tension to cut through residue rather than push it around, and the extra weight puts more cushion between your hand and the paint.

We have run these through our own studio and they have earned their place on the bench. This is the towel to reach for when the job is long and precision has to hold the whole way through — coating removal, wax and sealant buffing, quick detailer wipe-downs and interior work.

ACE vs ACE HEAVYWEIGHT — WHICH ONE

The 320 GSM ACE is the faster, lighter cloth — better when you want speed and minimal drag over lots of small wipes. The 400 GSM ACE Heavyweight is the one for long sessions and heavier product loads, where carrying more residue per face saves you time. Most detailers end up running both.

DIRECTIONS

1. Use a clean, dry cloth for removal or levelling of products.

2. Fold into quarters for better control and even pressure.

3. Flip to a clean side as residue builds.

4. Wash separately after use to maintain performance.

CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Microfibre performs best when fibres remain clean, open, and free from residues that can clog or harden them. Proper washing keeps towels soft, absorbent, paint-safe, and extends their lifespan.

• Wash warm, avoid high heat
  Wash at 30–40°C to remove dirt and chemicals without stressing fibres. Avoid hot washes and hot drying cycles.

• Use liquid detergents only
  Powder detergents can leave residue behind. A mild liquid detergent keeps fibres clean and unclogged.

• No fabric softeners or dryer sheets
  These coat the fibres and prevent proper absorption, quickly ruining microfibre performance.

• Wash microfibres separately
  Keep away from cotton or lint-heavy fabrics, as microfibre attracts lint instantly.

• Air dry or tumble dry low
  Low heat preserves softness. Air drying is ideal; low tumble is safe when needed.

• Avoid bleach
  Bleach breaks down the polyamide content and shortens towel life.
