The Rag Company Premium Korean 70/30 Microfibre Detailing Applicator Sponge is the applicator we reach for more than any other in the studio. A plush 70/30 microfibre face is wrapped around a foam core, so it holds product evenly and releases it under light pressure without the streaking you get from a bare foam block.

Where we use it: applying coatings and conditioners to interior leather, spreading spray waxes and sealants thinly across a panel, waterless washing, and final buffing of quick detailers. The microfibre face is soft enough for leather and piano-black trim, and the foam core keeps your fingers away from the product.

Care: rinse out after each use and wash with a dedicated microfibre detergent such as P&S Rags to Riches — no fabric softener, which clogs the fibres. Keep one applicator per product type so coating residue never ends up on your leather.
