Koch Chemie RKR Clay Bar (Red) — Heavy Decontamination
The red cleaning clay is Koch Chemie's heavy-duty grade, made for paint that's genuinely neglected or heavily bonded. It pulls tree resin, insects, rust bloom, industrial fallout, overspray, tar and limescale out of paint and glass that a wash and a mild clay can't touch.
Aggressive by design — respect it
Because it cuts hard, it's not for fresh or delicate paint. Koch specifically advise against it on new paintwork, and it's expected to be followed by machine polishing to refine the surface. Think of it as the first step in a correction, not a standalone maintenance job.
How to use it
Always use it with plenty of Clay Spray lubricant and no pressure — let the clay glide and do the work. Follow with a polish, then seal or coat the fresh surface.
