Koch Chemie 1L Spray Head & Bottle

The trigger is the piece of kit most detailers never think about — right up until it seizes halfway through a panel. Koch Chemie build theirs to the same standard as the chemistry that goes in it.

1.2 ml Per Stroke — Why That Number Matters

The Spray Head Star delivers a medium stroke of 1.2 ml. That figure isn't marketing filler, it's the whole point. Dose too low and you're pumping ten times to wet a door, dragging out your process and inviting the product to flash before you've worked it. Dose too high and you're throwing concentrate down the drain on every pull. At 1.2 ml you get a repeatable, metered delivery — the same amount on panel every time, which is exactly what you want when you're diluting to a ratio and expecting consistent results.

Needle Jet Through to Spray Mist

The head is individually adjustable across its full range, from a tight needle jet through to a fine spray mist. That range covers most of what a detailing workflow throws at it. A needle jet places product into shuts, badge surrounds and grille slats without overspray onto adjacent trim. A fine mist lays an even film across glass or a panel for a quick detailer or a prep spray, where uniform coverage matters more than reach. One head, both jobs.

HDPE Body With a Printed Dilution Scale

The 1L cylindrical base (part 999063) is moulded from HDPE — high-density polyethylene — and carries a printed volume and dilution scale down the side. Both are confirmed on Koch Chemie's own technical listing, not stockist copy. The scale is the useful part day to day: you fill to your product line, top to water, and you've mixed to a ratio by reading the bottle instead of guessing. For anyone who dilutes concentrates like a chemist rather than by eye, that repeatability is the whole reason to run a proper base bottle.

Built for the Koch Chemie 1L System

The head runs a 28/400 thread and mates to the Koch Chemie 1L cylindrical base. If you already run Koch Chemie 1L bottles, this is a direct fit — no adaptors, no cross-threading, no chasing a trigger that almost seats. The Star head (part 999001) and the base (part 999063) are sold as separate Koch parts, which is exactly why the buying options below exist.

Four Ways to Buy It

Bottle Only. The 1L HDPE cylindrical base with its dilution scale, on its own — for when you just need more bottles for more dilutions.

Trigger Only. The Spray Head Star on its own — the natural replacement when a trigger finally wears out.

Trigger + Bottle. The complete unit, ready to fill, dilute and spray.

Trigger + Bottle x5. Five complete units — the sensible buy if you run a bench of pre-mixed dilutions or a multi-bay studio.

Why Koch Sell the Head and Bottle Separately

Being able to replace just the head is smarter than it first looks. Triggers wear out long before bottles do — the spring and seals are the moving parts, the HDPE body isn't. Replace the head as needed and you're not binning a perfectly good bottle every time a trigger gives up. Buy the pair to start, then top up heads down the track.
