Feynlab ULTRA V3 | 6-Year Bi-Phasal Ceramic Coating 30ml
Feynlab Ultra V3 — now available to everyone
Ultra V3 used to be restricted to Feynlab-certified installers. That restriction has been lifted. This is the same 30 ml bottle we use on customer cars in the Alpha Details studio, now sold to anyone who wants to apply it themselves.

About Ultra V3
Ultra V3 is the flagship of Feynlab's bi-phasal professional range. The current packaging rates it at 6 years of protection, built for deep gloss, strong hydrophobic behaviour and chemical and UV resistance on clear-coated paint. As with every coating we sell, that figure is the manufacturer's, not an independent Australian test.
One bottle, two layers. Ultra V3 uses Feynlab's bi-phasal chemistry: two immiscible components in a single product. As the coating cures they separate by density — the heavier base coat sinks and anchors to the paint, the lighter top coat rises to form the outer surface. One application lays down a base coat and a top coat that cure and wear as one system.
Hydrophobic by the numbers. Feynlab quotes an average water contact angle of 113° for the Ultra V3 top coat, against the 97–106° it cites for most leading coatings. Higher contact angle means water beads tighter and leaves faster, taking loose dirt with it, so the car stays cleaner between washes.
Resistance. The base coat forms a hard, chemically resistant film that guards the clear coat against UV degradation, chemical etching from bird droppings and bug residue, and light marring. Feynlab publishes no quantified figures for these, and neither do we.
Approved surfaces. Clear-coated paint, headlights and taillights, and clear-coated wheels and calipers. Not approved for matte or satin finishes. Feynlab's ceramic primer is optional but recommended on older or heavily corrected paint, and Overcoat V3 can be layered on top for extra slickness.
Before you buy — the honest bit
Preparation decides the result, not the brand. Full decontamination, paint correction where needed, and a residue-free panel wipe such as Labocosmetica VERITAS. A coating laid over polish oils or bonded fallout will fail early whatever it cost.
The registered Feynlab warranty is an installer thing. Feynlab registers its warranty only when the coating is applied by a Feynlab Certified Installer. Buy and apply it yourself and you get exactly the same coating — just not the registered warranty. If the warranty matters to you, book the application with us.
Application guidance. Feynlab issues its application instructions to certified installers. We are one — ask us before you start and we will talk you through flash and cure times for Melbourne conditions.
Maintenance. Wash with pH-neutral chemistry and avoid high-alkaline or brush automatic car washes, which is Feynlab's own maintenance advice for the coating.
Sold and applied by Alpha Details — run by a detailer with a degree in chemistry. We understand the surface chemistry behind coating adhesion, which is what decides whether a coating lasts its full life or fails early.
