Labocosmetica is the world's first car care brand to earn VDA certification from the German Association of the Automotive Industry (Verband der Automobilindustrie). This isn't a marketing badge. It's independent, third-party verification that every product has been tested and confirmed safe on the most sensitive surfaces found in modern vehicles.

As someone with a chemistry degree who tests products in our own studio before we stock them, the VDA stamp matters enormously to me. It means I don't have to guess.

We stock 71 Sonax and 38 Koch Chemie products — and there's a reason both ranges are so large. These are the two dominant professional-grade German brands used in detailing studios worldwide.

Sonax has been producing automotive chemistry since 1950. Their formulations are precise, consistent, and widely trusted. Koch Chemie in particular has a cult following among professional detailers for the depth and specificity of their product range — they make a product for almost every precise application imaginable.

If a customer already knows what they're doing and wants a proven German-engineered solution for a specific job, Sonax or Koch Chemie is where we point them. The chemistry is serious and the results are consistent.

Australian Made: Mirch

Mirch is an Australian-made, chemistry-driven brand formulated right here locally — and that matters to us. Their formulas are the result of genuine research and development, engineered for performance rather than just shelf appeal.

With 31 products covering wash, snow foam, wheel care, iron removal, interior, glass, coatings, and quick detailers, Mirch covers the full detailing spectrum at an accessible price point. If you want professional-grade chemistry that's Australian made and locally supported, Mirch is a brand we're genuinely proud to stock.

Premium & Enthusiast Grade: Maniac Line, Dr.Beasley's, CARPRO, Feynlab

These are for customers who've done their homework and want the absolute best.

Maniac Line is designed for enthusiasts who want simplified, easy-to-use products with great results. It's a different kind of choice from Labocosmetica — approachable and enthusiast-focused, but not VDA certified, so if you're working on sensitive or high-value surfaces, Labo remains the safer default. Dr.Beasley's specialises in exotic and specialty vehicle care. CARPRO has a devoted following for their decontamination and coating chemistry. For ceramic coating protection, Feynlab and Labocosmetica are our go-to choices — both used and trusted in our own studio.

These products reward knowledge. If you know what you're doing, they deliver exceptional results. If you're newer to detailing, we'd start you with Labocosmetica first.

Equipment: BigBoi, Mirka, Dynabrade, DIY Detail

Not everything in our store is chemistry. We carry 63 BigBoi products — their blowers, deionisers, and foam guns are a category in themselves and genuinely transform how efficiently you can detail a car without leaving water spots. Mirka and Dynabrade are our main polishing machines — both serious professional tools used in our own studio. DIY Detail rounds out the machine options with their cord-free dual action polisher, and they also carry ceramics, polish, and a range of chemistry, making them a good one-stop brand for enthusiasts getting started with machine polishing.
