SONAX XTREME Wash+Seal combines a wash and a protection step in one bucket — it lifts dirt and grime while laying down a durable layer against water, weathering and contamination.
What you're buying
- 500 ml, with a measuring cap in the base of the bottle. SONAX article number 02442000.
- Note on the name: SONAX have since renamed this line XTREME Wash+Protect. Same product family — if you have seen it under the new name, this is it.
- Developed and manufactured in Germany.
Protection is claimed to last up to 20 washes before reapplication, which makes it a sensible maintenance wash on already-sealed or coated cars.
Where a wash-and-seal does and doesn't fit
On a maintained car it is genuinely useful — you top up protection every wash for no extra time. What it will not do is substitute for a real sealant or coating on unprotected paint, and it should not go anywhere near a car you are about to polish or coat, because you would only be stripping it back off again at the panel-wipe stage.
