Why ceramic? The tip is the part of a nozzle that wears. Steel and brass tips erode with use, the orifice opens up, and your spray pattern loses definition and pressure. Ceramic resists that erosion and high temperatures, so the fan stays crisp and the pressure stays where it should be — at the panel.
