The GENERAL Heavyweight is the denser, thirstier sibling of the Aquatouch GENERAL. Same low-denier 70/30 yarn, same fully chemically split fibres, same purpose-tuned terry weave — just built with more pile behind it for the jobs that ask more of a towel.

At 365 GSM it holds more liquid per wipe and buffs residue away in fewer passes, while still moving fast enough to be a daily-driver cloth rather than a specialist one. It dries a rinseless wash properly, lifts heavier products without loading up, and covers larger panels without becoming a chore — and it stays safe on delicate surfaces while doing it.

We have tested these in our own studio and they are excellent. If you want one general-purpose towel that handles more volume without giving up softness, this is it.

A NOTE ON MICROFIBRE SPEC SHEETS

Performance comes from how the yarn, denier, weave and fibre split work together — not from any single number on a label. Korean origin is not on its own a guarantee of quality, "100% split" does not tell the full story, and a higher GSM does not automatically mean a better towel. A heavy cloth with a poor weave will push product around; a well-built lighter cloth will out-perform it. Judge a towel by what it does on the panel.

GENERAL vs GENERAL HEAVYWEIGHT — WHICH ONE

The 300 GSM GENERAL is the quick, light workhorse for everyday wipes. The 365 GSM GENERAL Heavyweight is for when there is more liquid or more product to move — drying, rinseless work and bigger panels. They complement each other rather than replace each other.

DIRECTIONS

1. Use a clean, dry cloth for drying, removal or general wiping.

2. Fold into quarters for better control and even pressure.

3. Flip to a clean side as the face loads up.

4. Wash separately after use to maintain absorbency.

CARE & WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Microfibre performs best when fibres remain clean, open, and free from residues that can clog or harden them. Proper washing keeps towels soft, absorbent, paint-safe, and extends their lifespan.

• Wash warm, avoid high heat
  Wash at 30–40°C to remove dirt and chemicals without stressing fibres. Avoid hot washes and hot drying cycles.

• Use liquid detergents only
  Powder detergents can leave residue behind. A mild liquid detergent keeps fibres clean and unclogged.

• No fabric softeners or dryer sheets
  These coat the fibres and prevent proper absorption, quickly ruining microfibre performance.

• Wash microfibres separately
  Keep away from cotton or lint-heavy fabrics, as microfibre attracts lint instantly.

• Air dry or tumble dry low
  Low heat preserves softness. Air drying is ideal; low tumble is safe when needed.

• Avoid bleach
  Bleach breaks down the polyamide content and shortens towel life.
