Maniac Line Water Spot Mineral Remover

Professional Limescale and Mineral Contamination Remover for Car Detailing

Maniac Line Water Spot Mineral Remover eliminates stubborn mineral contaminants such as limescale, water spots, and salt residues from your vehicle’s surfaces — deposits that a normal wash cannot remove. Safe on glass, paintwork, plastics, and chrome, the formula chemically dissolves contaminants without abrasion, restoring surfaces and enhancing the bond of protective coatings or sealants.

KEY BENEFITS
  • Professional-Grade Decontamination: Effectively removes limescale stains, mineral deposits, superficial oxidation, and acid rain marks from all surfaces.
  • Versatile Application: Safe for use on paint, glass, plastics, and chrome, making it an essential product for comprehensive car detailing.
  • Prepares Surfaces for Protection: Enhances the adhesion of waxes, coatings, and sealants by eliminating residues that compromise bonding.
  • Non-Abrasive Formula: Chemically dissolves contaminants without damaging surfaces.
  • Safe and Powerful: Ideal for both light and heavy mineral deposits.

DIRECTIONS
  1. Preparation:

    • Wash and dry the vehicle thoroughly to expose mineral stains clearly.
    • Gather the necessary tools: a microfibre pad, microfibre cloth, and a soft-bristled brush.
  2. For Localised Stains:

    • Apply the product directly to the affected area.
    • Allow it to dwell for 30 seconds, then wipe off with a damp microfibre cloth such as the Polishing Cloth.
    • Buff with a clean, dry microfibre cloth.
  3. For Tough Stains:

    • Reapply the product and extend the dwell time slightly, up to a maximum of 60 seconds.
    • Wipe off and rinse thoroughly to avoid leaving halos.
  4. For Large Areas:

    • Treat one panel at a time, applying the product evenly with a microfibre pad.
    • Work it into the surface and rinse with clean water before moving to the next section.
  5. For Intricate Areas:

    • Use a soft-bristled brush to work the product into hard-to-reach areas, such as badges, locks, or wheel nuts.
    • Rinse thoroughly to ensure no residue remains.

RECOMMENDATIONS
  • Work in a shaded area to prevent the product from drying prematurely.
  • Ensure the vehicle’s surface is cool and clean before application.
  • Always treat one panel or small section at a time for best results.

DILUTION

FAQ

Why is it important to remove limescale from the surface?

Limescale builds up wherever water stagnates — around wheel nuts, mouldings and emblems — and cannot be removed by a normal wash or by mechanical decontamination with a clay bar. Left in place it dulls the paint colour and stains the glass. Dissolving the calcium minerals requires chemical decontamination with Water Spot Mineral Remover; iron contamination from pollution is a separate job for an iron remover.

How can I check the surface is fully decontaminated?

Pass a jet of water over the panel — if the water slides off in a compact, even film, the surface has been completely purified.

Should it be used on a wet or dry car? Work on a dry surface for limited or localised spots; apply to a wet car for widespread contamination or on glass.

What if the whole car is contaminated? For heavy, widespread contamination — hard-water sprinkler stains or a dull, opaque body — start with a thorough wash using a pre-wash shampoo and a dedicated shampoo before treating the remaining spots.
