Feynlab WINDOW Coating | Covalent-Bond Hydrophobic Glass Coating
Feynlab WINDOW COATING is an ultra-durable, extremely slick and highly hydrophobic glass treatment. Rather than relying on hydrogen bonding or weaker Van der Waals attraction — the mechanisms behind most glass sealants, which wear off quickly — WINDOW COATING reacts with the glass itself to form a covalent bond. Those bonds are far harder to break, which is why the coating lasts.
CHOOSE YOUR FORMAT
- Coating Only — 30ml: the coating on its own. Choose this if you already have a glass polish or decontamination step in your process, or you are topping up an existing kit.
- Coating Kit — 30ml + Cleaner Polish: the complete two-step system. 50ml Window Cleaner Polish plus 10ml Window Coating (enough to coat all windows on one vehicle). Choose this if you want everything needed for a full glass job in one box.
The chemistry in the bottle is identical. The only difference is whether the preparation step is included.
HOW IT WORKS
The system is two steps for a reason. Step 1, the Cleaner Polish, strips surface grime, mineral deposits, water spotting and embedded contamination — and in doing so exposes the hydroxyl groups within the glass. Those hydroxyls are the reactive sites the coating anchors to.
Step 2 is the coating itself. It condenses onto the prepared surface and forms a ceramic-like membrane, filling the micro-voids in the glass and covering the peaks with protection. The process happens at the nano scale, but the result is visible: the glass reads clearer, and water leaves it faster.
The surface goes from relatively reactive to chemically inert — stain resistant, hydrophobic and oleophobic.

DURABILITY
Durability depends on abrasion, wiper use and chemical exposure. Realistic expectations:
