Labocosmetica PURIFICA | pH <3 Acid Snow Foam | VDA Certified, HF/ABF-Free
Labocosmetica PURÌFICA — pH <3 Acid Snow Foam
Purìfica was the world's first acid shampoo built for car detailing — and it solved the problem that makes most acid products dangerous. Cheap acid cleaners lean on hydrofluoric acid or ammonium bifluoride, which etch alloys and clear coat and are a genuine health hazard. Purìfica uses buffered noble acid chemistry instead: no HF, no ABF, and VDA-certified safe even undiluted.
What it does is the part you can't get from an alkaline wash. There's a thin film of limescale and mineral deposit that builds up invisibly on paint — the real reason a car looks flat and dull over time, especially on darker colours. Purìfica dissolves and sequesters those minerals, pulling the shine back out of the paint and protecting against acid-rain etching. It works as a hand shampoo, a foam-gun pre-wash or an atomiser spray, and it holds its acidic action even heavily diluted — down to 1:400 for a maintenance wash.
The Labocosmetica pH range (all products may be used independently too):
- Prìmus 2.0: Alkaline pre-wash (pH 11)
- Nève: pH-neutral foam pre-wash
- Purìfica: Acid pre-wash (pH below 3)
KEY FEATURES & BENEFITS
- Buffered noble acids — no HF, no ABF. The decontaminating power of an acid without the wheel-etching, skin-penetrating hazards of fluoride chemistry.
- VDA-certified, even undiluted. Independently proven safe on delicate surfaces at full strength.
- Removes what alkaline can't. Limescale and mineral film — the hidden cause of lost gloss, especially on black paint.
- Revives coatings and sealants. Strips the mineral haze off existing protection so it beads and sheets like new.
- Wax- and sealant-free formula. Won't lay down anything that interferes with your existing protection — you stay in control of the lifecycle.
DIRECTIONS
Purìfica is the pioneering acid shampoo of car detailing. It gently dissolves and sequesters limescale and mineral deposits, protecting the bodywork even against acid rain, and removes the thin mineral film that builds up invisibly on paint — the main cause of lost gloss over time, most visible on black cars. Use it both as a periodic rejuvenation treatment for protection and coatings, and as a routine maintenance wash.
Its acidic action holds even when heavily diluted — up to 1:400 for a maintenance wash. Use it as a hand shampoo in a bucket, or as a pre-wash through a foam gun or spray. It restores and revitalises the performance of nano-coatings and sealants, and its wax- and sealant-free formula preserves the protection already on the car. VDA-certified for compatibility with the most delicate materials.

Frequently asked questions
Does Purifica contain hydrofluoric acid or ammonium bifluoride?
No. Purifica uses buffered noble acid chemistry — no HF and no ABF. Those cheap acid agents etch alloy wheels and clear coat and are a serious health hazard. Purifica is VDA-certified safe on delicate surfaces even undiluted.
What does an acid shampoo remove that a normal wash can't?
A thin film of limescale and mineral deposits builds up invisibly on paint and is the main cause of lost gloss over time, especially on dark colours. Purifica dissolves and sequesters those minerals, pulling shine back out of the paint and helping protect against acid-rain etching — something alkaline and neutral washes cannot do.
What dilution should I use for Purifica?
Foam gun: 1:5 to 1:10. Hand wash in a bucket: 1:100 to 1:400. Atomiser: 1:100 to 1:200. Its acidic action holds even heavily diluted — around pH <3 at 1:100–1:200 and roughly pH 5 at 1:400 for a gentle maintenance wash.
Will Purifica strip my wax, sealant or ceramic coating?
No. Purifica is wax- and sealant-free and is designed to revive existing protection, not remove it — it strips the mineral haze off coatings and sealants so they bead and sheet like new. It is VDA-certified for compatibility with delicate surfaces.
